Plytech Green is a range of panels that was born out of our goal to provide a more sustainable product line for healthier homes and better living environments. While all our products are sustainable and certified, we are constantly searching for new sustainable solutions.
Natural renewable lignin is used as a replacement for traditional fossil phenol in Plytech Green panels. Lignin is a recyclable and ecologically friendly product, abundantly available in trees and plants. It is a wood component that gives plants shape and stability as a kind of connector, thus solidifying the cell wall.
Plytech Green consists of Latvian Birch plywood panels available with a range of timber veneer options like A-grade Birch, American White Oak, American White Walnut, as well as high-pressure laminates in a range of colours and wood textures.

Credit 13.2 Engineered Wood Products: 13.2B Laboratory Testing
All engineered wood products used in the building must meet the relevant limits specified in Table 13.2B as per the specified test protocol, or have product specific evidence that it contains no formaldehyde.
Credit 20.2 Timber:
Timber and timber products sourced from certified forests must be accompanied by a relevant Chain of Custody (CoC) in order to be recognised as certified timber. Currently, FSC International and PEFC-accredited forest certification schemes are recognised as compliant within this criterion.

Products that hold either product specific EPD or industry - wide EPD contribute to project points
