How To Panel A Wall

Here is how to structure the installation.
- Plan: Before starting, it is essential to know how the wall needs to look after the installation. Collect the material according to that so the process wouldn't need to be halted in between. Then place the material in the room. It needs to be installed for 2, 3 days, so the wood gets adjusted to the humidity level.
- Preparing the wall: Remove all nails, holders, skirting, moulding, and jambs from the wall. Next, fix any wall issues like flaky plaster, damp wall, and any other issue that might affect the paneling.
- Fix the frame: Fix the wall covering to the wall using nails and hammer or glue it with sealant and fillers.
- Attach the paneling: Attach the wall paneling to the frame and caulk any gaps.
- Coat the paneling: Wood paneling needs to be undercoated with a primer twice. Then, after it dries, two coats of paint would allow the paneling to get its final look.
