The extravagant Proust Armchair was designed as early as 1978 by Alessandro Mendini and was re-released as an outdoor version by Magis in 2011. 

The Armchair by Magis is made of polyethylene/plastic and convinced us with its imaginative, baroque use of forms. The outdoor armchair is available in different colours, among others in dark blue and orange. All the available colours of the Proust you will find in the "available product types". 

Originally, the Proust Armchair was designed for the Palazzo dei Diamanti in Ferrara and immediately became the design icon of the 20th century. The armchair in one of the most famous and important reference points for aesthetic shapes.
