Coating technology

Coating technology PureCoat by Bates Surfaces panels are produced using the latest coating technology, bonding the coating to a moisture-resistant, E0 low formaldehyde emitting MDF substrate. PureCoat by Bates Surfaces contains no Volatile Organic Compounds and is resistant to fading and staining. The advanced UV cured surface offers a higher level of scratch resistance when compared to traditional two-pack paint systems, high gloss vinyl, and high gloss acrylic panels.

Protec+® antimicrobial surfaces

PureCoat surfaces contain Protec+ antimicrobial technology which protects PureCoat surfaces against bacterial and fungal activity. This makes PureCoat ideal for applications where hygiene is critical. Protec+ provides long-term and effective antimicrobial properties, reducing the overall level of harmful bacteria in the environment and the likelihood of cross-contamination.

Edge treatment

A range of Mirror Gloss matched edging is available, which provides edge protection and impact resistance.
