Turkey Oak
The Turkey Oak is a hardy, attractive, spreading pyramidal tree with almost furry toothed leaves appearing in spring and changing to a coppery-bronze colour in autumn. It will hold some leaves through the winter providing colour to the landscape. It is the most coastal-hardy of the oaks and produces acorns. Hardy, deciduous, grows to 10 x 6m.
Suitable for: Avenues, laneways, shelter, specimen and woodland plantings.
