Security and Access Control

Home or away, a smart home provides the ultimate security features for your total peace of mind. From remote controlled cameras to electronic locks, a smart home with a Control4 system at its heart allows you to rest assured no matter where you are in the world. Hi-def cameras allow you to check-in on your property when you’re not at home or see who’s at the door if you’re home alone. Two-way communications enable you to talk to visitors, giving instructions or telling them to come back at a more convenient time. Smart locks grant or deny access to certain people and send alerts to your device no matter how far away you are. Garage doors, windows and gates can all be secured remotely, and with a touch of a button. Security lighting attached to motion detectors will light up anyone who shouldn’t be there, or simply have your home light up automatically as the sun sets every evening. Smart lighting can even create a “mockupancy”, which alternates lights, shades and even televisions in a random order, making it look like someone’s home, even when you’re on the other side of the world. All the security features are managed by one single system – Control4. This effortless smart home foundation allows you to control everything from a touchscreen, TV or mobile device. “Features like automatically closing gates and garage doors has already proved valuable on several occasions when I have forgotten to close them. The reassurance in knowing if I do forget, they are closed on the time clock is awesome.” — JOHN RAE
