Thought from the artist:This image was taken on a trip to Wharekauri the Chatham Islands in a small secluded section of the main island. This seemed like an important image to take at the time. This bright orange pendulum hanging amidst the lush green remnamt of bush

Elliott Collins won the prestigious 2024 Molly Morpeth Canaday Contemporary Art Award. He holds PhD in visual art from Auckland University of Technology. His work is held in significant private and institutional collections locally, including the Auckland Art Gallery, as well as internationally.
