Thought from the artist: This painting is the title piece from my 2021 show 'Through The Mist'. 

Moffat's contemporary realist painting are an attempt to make sense of the digital world we inhabit. Through AI and smart technology, the boundaries between the real and the imagined, the human and the machine, have become increasingly blurred. Via the act of technically brilliant painting, the artist seeks to reflect a potential future back to us, creating something of a paradox; the hyper real scenes are clearly fantasy, and rendered reality through being painted. 

Logan Moffat is an award winning artist, one of the youngest people to win the prestigious Adam Portrait Prize.
