Vittoriano Vigano work for Arteluce in the 1950s has become highly coveted and emblematic of the sculptural organic designs that emerged from post war Italy. The VV Cinquanta lighting series with its slender forms and ovoid shades perfectly showcase the lavish and gestural style that defined Italian modernism. With a distinctive dual-stemmed construction, it features two uniquely shaped reflectors, one narrow and one wide.
