Employing state-of-the-art climate technology with heating and cooling circuits as well as air filtration they ensure the very best conditions for wines to quietly mature and develop their full flavour.

Liebherr’s dual zone wine cellar WTes 5972 includes two temperature zones that can be set independently of one another ranging between 5°C and 20°C. Red wine and white wine can be stored at the same time in this appliance, each at its ideal drinking temperature.

With the ability to store up to 211 x 750ml Bordeaux bottles and a double-glazed tinted glass door that filters harmful UV rays, the WTes 5972 is the perfect choice for wine connoisseurs.  Dimmable LED lighting and telescopic shelving make it easy to locate your preferred vintage.

Door alarm

The audible door alarm alerts the user if the door has been open for longer than 60 seconds for safe protection of the wine.

Reversible door hinges

The appliances are factory fitted with door hinges on the right. The reversible door hinges permit optimum use of the appliance wherever it is located.

Vinidor range

With two wine safes that can be precisely regulated from +5°C to +20°C independently of one another, the Vinidor appliance offers maximum flexibility of use. This appliance also provides the ideal climate conditions for long-term wine storage. Since the wine safes vary in size, and their temperatures can be set with absolute flexibility, these appliances can accommodate any personal selection of wines.

Child lock

The child lock is programmed so as to prevent the appliance from being inadvertently switched off. A symbol in the MagicEye indicates when the child lock is switched on.

Activated charcoal filter

Environmental odours can affect wines stored for longer periods. In the wine cabinets, perfect air quality is ensured through an easily-replaceable FreshAir activated charcoal filter.

Presentation shelves

The presentation shelf sets off fine wines to perfection and keeps bottles that have already been opened at the optimum temperature. Up to 6 wine bottles can be placed upright on the flexible shelf. Wine bottles can be stored lying down either behind or at the side.

Ideal humidity

Maintaining the proper humidity is an important aspect of the storage of wines. In this way, corks remain supple and do not dry out. Wine should be stored in a horizontal position to keep the corks moist from the inside. With over 50 % air humidity, wine cabinets guarantee the perfect conditions. The air humidity can be controlled as required in the wine storage cabinets by pressing the ventilation button.

Low-vibration storage

Even slight vibrations can disturb the wine maturing process and prevent the tannins from settling. Specially developed, exceptionally low-vibration compressors in all the wine cabinets mean that the wine is optimally stored.
