Vis à Vis Modular Sofa by Tribu

The Vis à vis sofa brings an ode to pure design. Slender, teak platforms support comfortable outdoor cushions without any visible back or arm structure. The cushions are supported by brackets in stainless steel which means that the sofa looks great from whichever way you look at it. Moreover, you can attach a graphic border or practical side tables to the platform, composed of square slats. The outdoor cushions can be left outside, even when it’s raining, thanks to the ventilating stuffing in a waterproof cover. The Vis à Vis sofa offers a modular system in which end less compositions are possible, from a small meridienne sofa to a large corner sofa.

For over 45 years the Dawson family and our wonderful staff have been filling homes with designer furniture sourced from New Zealand and abroad. We travel extensively, collaborating with our manufacturing partners to ensure we bring the best value product we can find. Our philosophy is simple - to showcase great quality, honest furniture from brilliant craftspeople in a welcoming environment.

How do we achieve this?

We are extremely lucky to have fostered strong relationships with renowned international furniture brands and designers including Molteni & C, Timothy Oulton, Dedon and Tribu. Buying directly from international suppliers enables us to remove the added layers of costs and complexity so we can pass the savings on to the consumer.

What is great quality?

We believe it is a fine balance of design and materials. That is why prior to adding any product collections we meet the artisans in their workshops and factories anywhere they manufacture around the world, which involves us spending up to 3 months a year travelling to Asia and Europe. All too often we have been shown cheaper items but they turn out to be inferior. All our staff are highly trained professionals who can tell you about our furniture in detail.
