About

As an experienced interior designer based in Kerikeri, Northland, my passion is to create one-of-a-kind spaces that are as visually compelling as they are functional. Collaboration with you as the client is entirely to the degree you feel most comfortable with my key focus being to understand what you want to achieve and draw on my knowledge, experience and contacts within the industry to deliver the home you will love for years to come.

I specialise in residential homes, particularly in the stunning coastal landscapes of Northland, drawing inspiration from the natural environment to design homes that feel effortlessly in tune with their surroundings. In the ideal world I am involved early in the design stage and can deliver on all aspects of design from spatial planning, materials and product selection, kitchen, bathroom and bespoke cabinetry design, colour palettes, lighting, window treatment selections, furniture and décor…right down to selecting the crockery, cutlery and bespoke cushions. In all cases I go the extra mile to ensure that every detail is impeccably executed and where required, all the client needs to do is turn the key to enjoy their new home.

Aleysha was asked to source and supply furniture,products and some fabrics for our house based on what she thought would work best within our 11 year old house. We were new to this and didn’t have a big budget but she easily worked within in. She was very thorough with finding out what style we liked. She was a fantastic communicator and was very easy going. She gave me lots of choices and got great prices on good quality pieces. She had great contacts and resources that we would not have had available to us. This was especially helpful in a small town with limited options. We were very pleased with the end result. She has good taste and a great idea of the end look.She also kept within our budget. We used Aleysha to help pull together some ideas for our big house renovation, mainly for the colours schemes and curtains for the bedrooms. She was fantastic! She was always prepared with tonnes of fabric samples for curtains and took into account my preferences and our budget. She helped us select some beautiful fabric for curtains which look so amazing with the floor and wall colours (which were also chosen with Aleysha's input)! I am really pleased both with the decisions we made with Aleysha and with the outcome and I'd highly recommend her to anyone looking for a great designer with an eye for beautiful things!
