Armstrong Interiors

"Ever since I can remember, I have had a love for interiors, colour, and art. This love has developed into a lifetime passion".

I remember my first experience of interior design; I painted large soft apricot lilies on my bedroom drapes made from calico. They looked fabulous for many years, and I continued to contribute artistically to many other projects from then on.

I have since created many beautiful and stylish interior spaces, including artworks, and I have a diploma in Architectural Interior Design.

We are often asked - When is the ideal time to engage us?

That's simple; we can work with your architect if you are starting a new project or home, or we can come into your existing home and invigorate your current space to suit your needs now. We have a vast range of interior products and items available to suit all budgets and work to suit your personal and family needs.

Everyone has a different aesthetic, but in fact, there is a formula for creating a home that everyone will desire. The key is to create an interior space that functions well and meets all the fundamental needs within a given space.

A well-designed interior should allow you enough freedom to create your dream home with a co-ordinated flow throughout, space planning, colour and material finishes. We endeavor to remove stress and help you select colour, finishes, and furniture to complement your room and home.

We would like to build a relationship with you to meet your dream no matter how ambitious. Working together to create and design your dream home, making it functional, stylish and the envy of your friends.

A design and style you can enjoy every day.

We work with you directly and personally to ensure we accomplish something amazing together. We specialise in producing both hand drawn and digital renderings, allowing you to visualize your dream before we set to work to get it right.

A large part of our work is the designing of kitchens and bathrooms, and Angelique is a member of the NKBA (NZ) - National Kitchen and Bathroom Association.

Style and functionality are important whether your style is a classic, clean and modern or sleek and sophisticated. Having a professional and functional workspace is essential.

A well-designed kitchen is a process between the two of us, ensuring we cover all aspects of your needs and wants, including the latest appliances, a well laid out scullery - our options are endless.

Angelique's belief is - that bathrooms should be clean and uncluttered with appropriate lighting and ventilation. To create a smooth flow through the use of colours, tiles, and vanities matching the overall theme of your bathroom with the rest of your home.

With the right storage you can create a calm, clean, fresh, uncluttered space that suits all ages. We measure, and custom make your wardrobes, walk-in robes and office, storage and entertainment units, to fit within a particularly given space. This offers freedom and functionality to all with colour, materials, and style.

Soft furnishings create a story in your home and evoke the emotional feelings you are looking for in your life today. Working together to create a homely feel or a minimalistic approach to decorating your home, the emotional feelings you desire can be gained through window treatments, flooring options, colours, cushions, and throws. From covering an old sofa in a lovely new fabric, through to feature pendant lighting are simple but effective ways to change an entire look and feel.

The placement of furniture, art, and mirrors is another area we specialize in. Colours that flow within the house and with your existing or new furniture.
