Auckland House Lifting is a house lifting company specialising in house lifting, sliding, levelling, and propping. It's also the sister company of Viking Homes. We provide house lifting services to residential properties in Auckland and surrounding areas. We are experts in complete design-lift-build project management and we also work alongside other builders.

We have a unique lifting and propping rig that has been engineered for the safest and most cost-effective method to help us:

Raise your house up to three metres off the ground
Prop your house at its existing height
Support your house

With the use of our rig and our full range of earthwork equipment, our team of qualified builders and house lifters can:

Build underneath to add another storey for extra rooms, floor space, or better views

House Sliding

We can slide houses to relocate them on the same section with millimetre accuracy using our custom-built track and skate system. With this system, we can also rotate the orientation of the building to suit any location on the property. This is a controlled push/pull system which ensures the safety of the building during the moving process. Our slide and rotate system is the safest way to reposition your dwelling.

We are currently undergoing fairly major renovations that required our house to be lifted and the basement to be excavated. We used Auckland House Lifting for this and they have been professional and fantastic. During the first few weeks of the project, we had super heavy rains come down for two solid weeks, causing major damage to parts of the project that had already commenced. The guys from Auckland House Lifting were right on top of it all, making sure that our house remained stable and ensuring no further damage would occur. My wife and I recently renovated our home which involved lifting the existing house over half a metre, and propping temporarily while new structural work was completed underneath. This was our first full renovation and neither of us had ever worked with a lifting rig before, so we were fairly nervous about the whole process. The type of system used in the lifting and subsequent propping process meant that we were able to complete all works safely and with no adverse effect on any existing elements of the house. I’ve recently had a house lifted off a concrete slab, a new timber floor built underneath whilst the house was suspended, and the house then cut and prepared for transport to a new site. Rueben and the team, right from day one, were enthusiastic and professional, tackling the project with positive attitudes and determined work ethics.
