The Basics

When the sun shines on your solar panels, they produce DC electricity. Your solar inverter will change this into AC electricity to power your home.

Excess Solar

During the day, your home is powered by the sun, and any excess power that you don't use will be sent back to the grid for a credit on your next power bill.

Batteries

Many people choose to install a battery. If you have a battery, excess power will be stored for you to use overnight.

At night time your battery will power your home.

Battery Backup

With a battery, we can back up some of your essential circuits like your WiFi, lights, and a couple of power points for you to use during a power cut.
