The icing on the cake or the foundation of a design scheme, beautiful cushions can really elevate a space to the next level. Becky's luxury cushions are meticulously handmade in Ōtautahi, NZ out of high end fabrics sourced from international design houses. 

With sustainability in mind high quality vintage and repurposed furnishing fabrics are also used, with a strong emphasis on minimising textile waste and offering NZ made bespoke cushions as an alternative to the mass produced imported market. Interior Design

New builds, single rooms, renovations, individual elements... Becky welcomes the opportunity to discuss projects of any size with you.

Your Budget

It is important at the start that you have an idea of a budget to complete your project. It doesn’t have to be exact, but you do need to know approximately what you are prepared to spend.

The Process

1. Initial Consultation

This appointment is approximately 1 hour long and is for gathering information about your project and defining the scope. There is a charge of $150 + GST.

2. Terms of Engagement

Using the info gathered in the initial consultation the project scope is outlined and design charges are estimated in a comprehensive Terms of Engagement letter for your consideration.

3. Design and Sourcing

Once you have accepted the Terms of Engagement the design work begins. An overall design direction for your project is developed, typically including establishing a colour palette, sourcing fabrics, wall coverings, furniture, accessory ideas, and identifying your personal style.

4. Approval of Design and Quote

Once you have approved the design direction Becky will gather pricing for the various elements that can be supplied direct to you, and present these as estimates or quotes.

5. Supply and Installation

The final stage ensures the supply of goods and services to your project, make sure the delivery and installation are hassle-free and the completed result is of the highest standard.

Becky will make sure you get the best result and will work with your other professionals and trades, oversee the big picture, keep track of the details and maintain control of quality.

Colour Selection

RuPaul famously said “Life is about using the whole box of crayons” and Becky couldn't agree more.

Colour has the ability to totally transform a space, can evoke strong emotions and change your mood. The possibilities for colour schemes are endless and when it’s done right, colour is the not-so-secret ingredient that makes it all come together. A successful space has to have a cohesive colour palette – think of it as ‘a plan’ that guides every decision to do with that space.

Becky will confidently guide you with your colour schemes, interior or exterior, encouraging you to include colour in your home in some form, from courageous playful brights to the most subtle and sophisticated hues.

Becky Lee Interiors is a member of the Independent Design Collective and has a large network of preferred suppliers supplying direct to clients a wide range of quality interiors items such as textiles, wall coverings, locally made custom furniture, flooring, lighting and more.

Window Coverings

There is a lot to consider when you are covering your windows. Given the level of investment and the impact window coverings can have on a room it's important that you get good advice for a great end result.

Curtains, blinds, shutters, heading types, track configurations, position, fabric type, linings, finished length, finials, tiebacks - there are lots of decisions to be made.

Becky will give you advice based on what is going to offer your space the best look and performance within your budget. Her knowledge of textiles and keen design eye will ensure you are not just covering the practical and functional bases, but ticking the style box too.

Styling & Space Planning

Styling and space planning are two elements that make all the difference if you’re selling your home, styling accommodation, or planning any kind of space that you want to look and function at it’s best.

If you have a problem area, or can’t get a space to feel right, it’s often to do with the furniture and art placement. Sometimes a fresh set of eyes is all that’s needed to re-imagine a space using what is already there.
