The story of how Cassa Homes started.

We started as a small family run business that is willing to please.

Cassa Construction was founded in 2009 by Andre and Cedah Mayo. Director, Andre Mayo, has been building for over 12 years, finishing his apprenticeship in early 2007 to become a qualified builder. He went on to become a licensed builder and a member of the Master Builders Association. 

Now known as Cassa Homes, we offer exciting design and build options that include project management, new residential builds, renovations and light commercial projects.

Having worked in the construction industry since 2003, and in Whitianga and its surrounding areas since 2007, Andre Mayo and Cassa Homes have established exceptional relationships with sub-contractors that you can trust. When we carry out a project for you, you can rest assured the experience, workmanship, and products of the sub-contractors we use will be of the highest standard. To ensure this, we use and support the best local contractors available to eliminate travel costs and allow for a quick and efficient workflow.

Andre and his team can plan all projects from concept through consent and construction phases.

Here is what you can expect during your building project:

Design

1. Participate in the design process with the client and design team, including architects, engineers and council.
2. Constructive feedback on cost and efficiency.
3. Estimate delivery time with a clear programme for construction.
4. Work with quantity surveyor on pricing and procurement of quality building materials.

Construction

1. Regular reports to the client with photos and highlighting issues and decisions to be made.
2. Careful management of sub-consultants. QA across the work.
3. Detailed finishing is what Cassa Construction strives for.
4. The follow up of any defect is the most important part of the job. Cassa Construction sees a project to its completion.

Follow Up

1. Post-occupancy. You can expect a call from us to see how your project is going. We can make changes at your request or address issues. Ultimately we want you to be happy.
