Having lived in my SIPs panel house for eighteen months now, I can say that it has performed beyond my expectations. It's ability to retain heat in the winter and stay cool in summer has been great.

My electricity bills have been less than predicted, but the biggest unexpected bonus was how sound proof the house is - I am always amazed at how noisy it is when I leave the house. We recently built a holiday home in South Westland. The system we used was a MAXRaft Foundation with SIPs walls and roof. As our area is on the Alpine fault line, it was important that the house be strong, stable and airtight. Furthermore, our winters can be cold so a house that is efficient with regard to heating and heat retention is important.

Finally, it was vital that the builder was experienced in these systems and paid attention to detail. CBG Quality Construction is such a builder. This is the best home that we have ever had the pleasure of living in!
