Cosgrove Goodwin Architects

CGA's architecture endeavours to exceed expectations and optimise its context and place within its surroundings and end user performance.  Design is not just about buildings but lifestyles.

While wearing the hat of  the "local" Architect we have been regularly servicing the Wellington suburbs from Wadestown to Onslow/Khandallah for nearly 20 years. The Practice has grown with projects ranging from Auckland to Queenstown.

Wellington, Kapiti Coast, and Wairarapa house the majority of our work.  We are currently also engaged regularly in Auckland, with projects consisting of renovations from Grey Lynn villas to multi unit terrace/townhouse developments.

From kitchen and bathrooms upgrades to large high end residential alterations, and new builds ranging from small "low cost Eco" houses, to sub division infill work and million dollar plus bespoke homes form the bulk of our work, catering for varying briefs and budgets.

Light Commercial, multi unit developments and apartments  are a growing part of the Practice. We are currently involved in the development of some "small house" prototypes, where sustainability meets architecture.

Services includes the full range of architectural services from feasibility studies and building measures, concept designs, resource and building consent drawings, tender and contract documentation to site observation and contract certification. Full computer 3D animation, artistic rendering and 3D terrain modelling.

Cosgrove Goodwin Architects is a Practice Member of the New Zealand Institute of Architects and uses NZIA documentation.

In all projects understanding "a sense of place" with the most appropriate contextual response are key drivers to our architecture.
