Customtek

See the Light
The level of lighting control available to homeowners is amazing.  First, we can install lighting systems that create the perfect ambience at the touch of a button – presetting different lighting options for various times and places.  Such as wake-up mode, dinner party mode and movie watching mode.  Second, we can set up a system that monitors and reduce energy consumption, which means smaller power bills. Nice!

The flexibility of KNX
Some home automation brands use their own proprietary technology.  While they can work well, the problem is that you’re often limited to the options you can add on. With lighting for example, you might be forced to choose from 8 ‘Brand A’ light switches.  At Customtek we do things a bit differently.  Our control system use KNX, which is a worldwide protocol that allows you to choose from literally hundreds of options.  And with more choice comes more increased affordability.

Entertainment Plus

LOVE MUSIC?
Gone are the days of the single sound source. With multi-room audio technology, anyone in your house can play what they want, where they want, when they want. We also know that Kiwis love making the most of their outdoor spaces – so we’ve become experts at taking high-quality sound outside the house too – so you can play your favourite tunes while you’re firing up the BBQ or swimming in the pool.

We import speakers direct from the USA.
Music is one of our passions. So we can’t stand sub-standard sound! Over the years we searched far and wide and then finally found some amazing American made speakers that perform better than most speakers twice their price. Needless to say, we’ll pass on the savings (and sound quality) onto you.

“With a tap on your mobile phone you can stream your favourite album, or your radio station to any room in the house or outside space.”

LOVE MOVIES?
Now it’s possible to have a movie theatre experience in the comfort of your own home. With a fully integrated home theatre control system from Customtek, you can transform the family viewing experience in the TV room, or build a professionally designed home theatre that will literally blow you away.

“With the push of a button from your control panel, you can automatically play your favourite movie, dim the lights and close the curtains. You’ll have to get the popcorn yourself though!

Next level climate control
At Customtek we can give you total control over the temperature in your home. Our automated solutions will allow you to control heating and cooling, but also the blinds and curtains as well. Which means maximum comfort while minimising power bills. We can reduce reliance on heating and cooling systems with automatic or controlled curtains and blinds. For example, we can reduce heating up your house in summer by programming your curtains and blinds to close automatically while you are out.

“There’s no need to wait until you get home to switch on your heat pump.  We’ll let you do it from anywhere at any time, in any season – all from your phone.”
