"After 29 years in the same house when we moved, we decided to leave all of our old furniture and have a fresh start. Danielle was involved from the outset and after purchasing the new house she came up with the colour palette for paints and carpets. From there she provided at least two furniture, artwork, accessories, window treatments and soft furnishing options for each of the rooms for us to review. Once we had decided on the design, Danielle ordered everything and coordinated the deliveries and installation to suit our time frame. She custom made cabinetry and furniture as well. The whole process was painless and stress-free as well as exciting at the same time and the end result exceeded our exceptions. Three years on and we still find it hard to believe that this is our house. We initially engaged Danielle to assist in the complete furnishing of our multi-level home in Port Melbourne. Danielle's initial brief was to provide her expertise in blending both our diverse styles in the decoration of our home and to that end she was able to understand and provide us with exciting options that were both cohesive and representative of us as a couple. As our home was an "empty shell" Danielle was required to provide options for all furntiure, lighting, flooring, window treatments, mirrors, artwork and accessories. This she achieved with great results sourcing and personally designing unique and bespoke pieces for our home. Danielle was also required to liaise and work alongside our interior architect and builder. To that end, Danielle's professionalism and great communication skills assisted in the smooth running and completion of the project. Danielle also surpassed all expectations in combining pre-selected finishes and fittings into her design concept. Danielle has a great "hands on" approach and her amazing attention to detail left no stone unturned. We are extremely delighted with the way that she was able to take our vision and turn our house into a unique and stunning home. Making the move to our dream apartment in St. Kilda Road, Melbourne required a complete rethink on the type of styling, colour schemes and furnishings that would showcase our fabulous new home in the best possible way. We could not have selected a more professional or better partner to support us with this process than Danielle Scandrett. We knew what we liked and what we didn't like, but we had no idea how to put it all together. Danielle took the time to very clearly understand our requirements, our lifestyle and what we were looking for in our new home. She then introduced the very best people to support her design and to build the furnishings that complimented the location and the space perfectly. The bespoke cabinetry to suit the curved windows overlooking the city created a perfect fit for the space. Danielle also designed a very special oval dining table on a pedestal base which created the ideal entertaining space to enjoy many memorable dinners. The piece de resistance however would undoubtedly be the cabinet bar unit that had a television hidden within it and could be remotely controlled to appear only when needed. Very 007!!! Danielle definitely created the WOW factor we were looking for while not losing the welcoming and warm feeling that we wanted for our dream home. She was an absolute pleasure to work with an we could not be happier with the final result.
