Gas is an efficient and cost effective alternative energy source for cooking and heating in the home. However, if gas installations are not correctly and carefully undertaken by a certified professional, there is an increased risk of fire or explosion.

Gas appliances also emit by-products through the burning process. The most common by-products of a properly functioning gas appliance are water vapour and carbon dioxide. However, it is possible for a malfunctioning gas appliance to release carbon monoxide, which can be lethal if inhaled over a prolonged period.

For these reasons, it is imperative that all gas installations, and regular maintenance checks on gas appliances, are undertaken by highly skilled, trained and certified gasfitters only.

We supply, install, maintain and repair:

• Gas Hot Water Cylinders
• Gas Infinity Units
• Gas Cookers and Hobs
• Gas Heaters

We can give you the peace of mind that your gas installation meets all the legal and safety requirements that will protect you and your family from any potential accidents.

Proper household heating is essential to maintain comfort levels during the cold winter months, but did you know that recent research* has shown that proper insulation and heating can have a significantly positive effect on your health during the cold spells? For most of us we experience nothing more than the physical discomfort of feeling cold, but the risk of illness – and even death – to the elderly, infirm, or infants can significantly increase in an inadequately heated home. Flu, colds and respiratory conditions are also more common in damp, unheated homes.

East Coast Plumbing and Gas can design, specify and install hydronic and blown warm air central heating.
