Enjoinery Construction Ltd has done a renovation on our View Mount property in Nelson during April and May 2018 under the guidance of the Project Manager Dirk Heffter.

The project was to renovate two bathrooms, the kitchen/pantry area and to build a paving construction leading up to the garden area. Access and a car parking space for two cars had to be formed. Fairly steep access with potentially high water run-off had to be mastered. The timeline of two months was agreed to meeting owners’ requirements to move into the renovated property after completion.

Both bathrooms had to be stripped, painted, restyled and equipped with new floor and wall tiles, new showers, a bathtub, sinks, toilets and vanities. Plumbing and electrics had to be upgraded and adjusted accordingly. Enjoinery Ltd did all the interior planning, provided computer previews and built the new vanities which turned out to be really attractive and provided extra storage and functionality. Everything was done to meet a budget and high quality, modern standards. The project owners were always kept up to date with progress, optional alternatives, the supply of inputs and sub-contractors to be engaged. Dirk managed all that with expertise and on-time overseeing a whole team of craftsmen on site. He was discussing all details with the owners and made changes according to work in progress and followed up on any request.

The whole project was completed to the best satisfaction of the owners and beautified the property according to its location and position. Good advice regarding interior colour, overall aesthetics, practicality and quality of products and work diligence were managed in a very professional manner and fashion, even “going the extra mile” on numerous occasions.

Enjoinery Ltd can only be recommended to anybody who wants to have construction, alteration or renovation done by a high-quality craftsmen team under the guidance of a master at the helm.

We engaged Enjoinery after they were recommended to us, and that recommendation was more than totally justified. We really enjoyed having Dirk and the team do a complete kitchen refit which was not an easy task in a 100-year-old concrete block house which required a lot of thought due to its limitations. The results achieved are wonderful and while we had a fixed goal in mind Dirks’ suggestions were always helpful and we always felt that our personal style was appreciated. Dirk and his team renovated my hair salon “The Hair Boutique” at the end of November 2017 they did an amazing job.

They were very quick and efficient as I wanted the job done before Christmas and it also needed to be done after hours as we a situated in the Richmond Mall.

It took a few months for me to decide on what I wanted to do with the salon “theme and layout-wise” I kept changing my mind but Dirk was very patient and took his time to help me decide and work out a plan.

I found him very honest, conscience and reliable.

We found Dirk Heffter and his company, Enjoinery, through a recommendation from a friend, which is always a good start. And now, having had Dirk and his wonderful craftsmen work on various projects throughout our property – including a full kitchen refurbishment, restoration of the original Rimu flooring in two areas, a new outside deck, and a full wall of wardrobes in the bedroom – we are enthusiastically recommending them to everyone ourselves. The work is of the highest standards; the guys are tidy, careful, friendly and super-efficient; nothing is too much trouble, and financially there is total transparency. We shall almost be sorry when the work is completed! But we shall have a far better home than we could have hoped for. Absolutely first class.

We have been really pleased with all the work that Dirk and his team have done for us. Their work is of a very high standard, and they are easy to deal with. Recently we renovated and enlarged a small property we own in Marybank, Nelson. Living in Christchurch we had heard of and seen Dirk's work, so when we discovered he and his crew were moving to Nelson we contacted him. 

His enthusiasm and input for the project made our lives in Christchurch less stressful. He treated the whole project as if it were for himself, keeping us up to date on progress and budget.

His small team of professional builders worked efficiently and expertly throughout the whole build. And when we visited the site they were helpful and friendly.

The result was what exactly what we set out for with no dramas or unpleasant surprises, just quality work, on time and within our budget.

Over summer 2015, Dirk and his team completed a fairly major piece of work for me; gutting and renovating kitchen, bathroom, toilet and laundry and building a brand new ensuite. From the very beginning of the project through to completion I found Dirk excellent, very straightforward & fun to work with. He and his team found solutions to some tricky problems and handled a couple of last-minute changes with no problems (at least for me). My kitchen had several bespoke design features, Dirk contributed several ideas, and his team did all the joinery completing the work to a very high standard. I am thrilled with the finished build. I would not hesitate to use Dirk and his team again and more than happy to recommend them.

Our bakery fitout undertaken by Dirk and his team at Craftworx exceeded all our expectations. From concept and design to manufacturing and installation, the entire project was completed on time and on budget. Craftworx provided us with conceptual 3 D drawings which really helped us fine-tune our design and their knowledge and advice about material choices was invaluable. I completely recommend Craftworx for bespoke shopfitting and cabinetry. 

Dirk has worked for me since 2012 and I have nothing but good things to say about him and the men that work for him. They have carried out extensive work on my property and I have been impressed by the standard of care and craftsmanship. Dirk is a good listener, has great ideas, works collaboratively and then executes an excellent job according to what has been agreed. I would highly recommend him at the design stage due to his seamless knowledge from the concept to the realisation of a project. The men that work for him do an excellent job whether it is a run of the mill practical job or one that requires craftsmanship and attention to detail. Their joinery is of a very high standard. In everything they do, they are always polite, respectful and absolutely trustworthy. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Dirk and Craftworx to anyone and often do.

As we all know, renovations are stressful... especially when it's a kitchen or a bathroom. Dirk and his team were amazing through the whole process and we even ended up being functional again a couple of days ahead of our already tight schedule, which is hard to believe in times like this! All of his team were experienced and super lovely and explained exactly what they were about to do which allowed for the other tradies to be scheduled and work around Dirk's crew seamlessly. The fact that the builders were coordinated with the joiner gave me peace of mind and worked out perfectly.
I'm super stoked with the final product and the quality of workmanship and I can honestly recommend these guys to anyone who appreciates quality, timeliness & good communication. I'm sure it costs more than a Mitre10 kitchen, but the pricing seemed fair and transparent and the quality of the corner units and pantry cupboards justifies every cent spent.

We decided to replace the aluminium windows/doors with uPVC double-glazed units. More than 25 to do ! Job has been done by Craftworkx in a perfect way. Team was always on time, very tidy and hard working. Everything was meticulously done, in the timeframe. No surprise, apart good ones ! The result is highly appreciated and what was a BIG job is now good memories. No hesitation to call them again.
