The Beginnings

Giuseppe Fanuli, founder of the iconic Fanuli family brand, left his home in Italy and travelled halfway across the world to Australia in 1956. With nothing but a dream and an unshakable determination to succeed with an artisanal skill in cabinetry, he opened Fanuli Furniture with the support of his family.

Giuseppe Fanuli’s dream of opening his own furniture store became a reality in 1976, when he established the first Fanuli store in Sydney. With a wealth of experience as a cabinet maker, Giuseppe had a unique understanding of the products he sold and was committed to only stocking the highest quality furniture.

Driven by his unwavering dedication to excellent customer service and refusal to become complacent, Fanuli grew steadily over the years.

In 1995, the next generation of Fanuli’s took over, with Giuseppe’s three sons; Fabio, Sandro, and Carlo at the helm. While the family connection ensured continuity in Fanuli’s identity and culture, the brothers fresh perspective led to a defining shift in the company’s strategy. Fanuli began to focus more on high-end Italian brands, cementing its reputation as a purveyor of exquisite, quality furniture.

Fanuli are renowned for their exquisite craftsmanship and timeless designs, cementing their place in the industry for offering some of the highest quality designs of furniture and lighting.

Giuseppe’s legacy lives on through his family’s continued commitment to his core values, with the third generation of the family now an integral part of the growing business.

Importantly, we are the exclusive suppliers for a number of leading Italian brands including Flexform, Kristalia, MD House and Riva 1920. These brands are constantly innovating, working with world-leading designers to create pieces that are unique and built to last, crafted from the finest
materials.

As a starting point, let’s have a chat in store, in your home or over the phone, where we will get to know your tastes, initial ideas and lifestyle demands.

Designing your space

Together, we will create your design, choosing pieces that will best suit your space and aesthetic, often incorporating your existing furniture. It can be as simple as optimising a single design, advice on piecing elements together or a comprehensive home design – it’s entirely up to you.

From vision to reality

Your design will match your budget and lifestyle, while reflecting your unique personality. We will provide a concept moodboard presentation with upholstery and finish options, a to scale visual floorplan and quotation on selections discussed.

Once you are 100% happy, we then bring it to life, with as much or as little help as you need.

Please note, the consultation doesn’t include a full interior design service extending into paint colour consulting, or specification on fixtures and finishes.
