About us

At Gardeners Emporium, we curate and create sculptural outdoor pieces that bring artistry, texture, and atmosphere to homes, gardens, courtyards, landscapes, and commercial spaces.

From handcrafted planters, water features, fire pits, sculptures, stone pieces, and moss wall art to bespoke custom designs, each piece is thoughtfully selected or created to bring natural beauty and considered design into every space.

Born from a love of nature, craftsmanship, and timeless design, Gardeners Emporium is dedicated to helping people experience outdoor spaces with the same intention and impact as interiors. We believe a garden should be more than something to look at. It should be felt, lived in, and enjoyed through form, texture, movement, sound, light, and scale.

With two immersive Auckland showrooms, Gardeners Emporium invites homeowners, designers, landscapers, and architects to experience our collections in person. Our Parnell showroom, located inside the Residium Design + Building Centre, offers a bold, design-led setting with colour, custom pieces, and statement outdoor features. Our Dairy Flat showroom offers a relaxed country setting where planted pots, running water features, fire pits, lighting, sculptures, and garden pieces are styled throughout indoor and outdoor spaces.

We specialise in custom-made designs, working closely with clients to create pieces tailored to their vision, size, finish, and style. Whether you are looking for a statement water feature, a bespoke sculpture, custom planters, or a complete collection for a landscape project, our team is here to bring your ideas to life.

Visit us in Parnell or Dairy Flat to see, feel, and experience our collections in person, and discover how Gardeners Emporium can help transform your outdoor space into somewhere truly extraordinary.

Do you work with trade customers?

Yes, we are happy to work with industry professionals such as architects, landscape architects, landscape designers, interior designers and builders. We offer a different pricing structure for trade clients, for more info please email Rachel at rachel@gardenersemporium.co.nz.

Where are you based?

Gardeners Emporium is based in Auckland, NZ. We ship to both the North and South Island.

What's the best soil to use in my planter?

The type and quality of planting mix is really important as it provides the foundation for growing healthy, beautiful plants. Not all planting mixes are the same. I recommend that you don’t scrimp here and buy the best quality – typically made with a combination of bark, pumice and compost with slow release fertiliser and wetting agent added. Don’t use topsoil as it will tend to compact over time compromising air and water movement, making it harder for your plants to grow well and it will be difficult to wet the pot to depth, as well as introducing weeds. Don’t use a compost as it will be too rich for plants to grown healthily.

We recommend container mixes rather than potting mixes as they have a coarser texture which helps with aeration and drainage whilst retaining the right amount of water for optimum palm, tree and shrub growth.

What are your shipping times?

Our shipping times vary between orders depending on the product you're after. However, we have quite a few products in stock at our Auckland warehouse that can delivered asap NZ wide. For more info on shipping and for a free quote, please email Rachel at rachel@gardenersemporium.co.nz.

How can I turn one of your pots into a water feature?

Most of our pots in the Atlantis, Ocean Rock and Décor Ceramics range can be turned into a water feature, allowing you to choose a pot you love.

The inside of the pot will need to be waterproofed and a hole drilled in the base to allow a piece of rigid pipe to move the water from the reservoir or collector pot via a pump to create a bubbling outlet.

We recommend sealing the outside of the pot with a matt clear sealant to protect the integrity of the pot given it will have water flowing over it (not required for the Décor Ceramics Range). The cost of the conversion materials to do this would be around $100.00 – $150.00 (cost of the pot, the reservoir or reservoir pot and a pump additional).

Do you create custom designs?

Yes, we specialise in custom-made pieces across several of our collections. Our stainless steel and corten steel sculptures and water features can be made to order in custom sizes and designs to suit your space. We also offer bespoke moss wall art, created to fit your preferred dimensions and layout.

Our Pietro Stoneware range is fully customisable, with options to tailor the finish, colour, and size of pots, sculptures, and water features. Whether you’re after a statement piece or a collection that perfectly complements your surroundings, we can help bring your vision to life.

Can I choose my own finish or colour?

Absolutely. Many of our products can be customised in a range of finishes, textures, and colours to complement your home or landscape design.

Are your products suitable for outdoor use?

Yes, all of our pieces (excl moss wall art) are designed to withstand New Zealand’s conditions, using durable materials that age beautifully and require minimal maintenance.

Do you offer delivery across New Zealand?

Yes, we ship nationwide, including rural and South Island addresses.

Can I pick up my order?

Pick-up is available from our Auckland location by appointment for selected products only. Please get in touch with us for more information.

Can you help me choose the right products for my space?

Definitely. Our team offers personalised design advice to help you find the right combination of pieces to suit your style and environment.

Do you have a showroom?

Yes, we have two Auckland showrooms where you can experience our collections in person.

Our Parnell showroom is located inside the Residium Design + Building Centre and can be visited during Residium’s opening hours. It offers a bold, design-led setting with custom pieces, colour, and statement outdoor features.
