Having a designer, especially one like Mary-Ellen Hinton from Hello Saturday, was essential for us in our building process. We knew what we wanted but were time poor and Mary-Ellen took all the pressure off. She understood our vision, gave suggestions (like black doors) to enhance the vision even more, spent endless hours talking with the builder and electrician to make sure the build matched the vision and executed perfectly with most of our furniture being delivered the day we moved in. In a Covid impacted year that is really saying something. She was truly awesome.

We are absolutely delighted with our completed home. Not only did Mary-Ellen give us the confidence to go for a different look to our usual style, but we found her to be very friendly and helpful and always available for discussion.

We went to Hello Saturday with a set budget and worked closely with Mary-Ellen to decide what was achievable within the time frame and budget. Mary-Ellen also talked us through what work would create the biggest and best impact, what we really needed to change, and some optional extras we could consider. She also sequenced the work so that the tradespeople could complete their work in a timely and logical manner.

Mary-Ellen did all the liaising with and chasing of suppliers and tradies - saving us so much time and stress. She supplied us with mood boards of each room and was really creative with her suggestions. Mary-Ellen from Hello Saturday Interior Design was really helpful in all aspects of the project. She provided initial mood boards, quotes and lots of new ideas. Nothing was ever a problem.
