Hispec7 was established in 2014 and is owned by a husband and wife team, Luke and Rae, located in Mount Maunganui.

Luke has 25 years experience and has worked on many of the high end and iconic projects in and around Mount Maunganui, that include new innovative creations. He was also proudly Porters Paints first inducted NZ Guild member, that specialises in bespoke wall finishes.

Our objective is to provide the highest quality paint finish collaborating alongside some of the best architectural builders in the bay of plenty some of these are:

We have engaged Hispec7 to redecorate the interior of our home in Papamoa Beach. As the house was previously wallpapered, it was a substantive amount of work that included plastering and finishing before doing a full interior paint.

Hispec7 has done a superb painting job with a high-class finish and the house looks amazing. All of this delivered at a very realistic price and in the time that we agreed on. Hispec7 have successfully completed multiple painting and decorating works, on a range of commercial construction projects for Alaska Construction & Interiors over the past years.

After asking Luke to advise us on the most suitable paint product for coastal conditions, we gave him the okay to paint our house. He had the paint manufacture’s representative come out to inspect the job, and he endorsed Luke’s recommendation. This product also came with a written 10yr warranty from the manufacturer, which was given after an inspection on completion of the work.

Hispec7 were excellent, and they were careful with the preparation and did not paint in unfavourable conditions, making sure that the walls were dry before starting each day. At the end of each day, everything was left clean and tidy.

We would have no hesitation in employing Luke and his team again.

I suppose you could say I am a ‘perfectionist’. If something isn’t quite right, it stares at me until I correct it. This extends through to paints and finishes. Luke had spray painted the ceilings in our previous home. I was impressed so much, it was natural to choose him again for our new home.

The finish is beautiful, lines & edges are straight – you could say ‘picture perfect’. He was a pleasure to work with and on past experience, we would highly recommend him.
