“Last week I received the best sales service ever when I popped in to In Residence with my broken tap. Actually it wasn't broken through any fault of the tap but rather by the way it had been serviced. From the moment I stepped through the door with tap in hand the great service started 'I recognise you and I recognise that tap!' was the cheery greeting, followed by 'oh, there's a bit broken off, come this way we can fix it'. In to the workshop I went where all the action began. It was a bit like watching surgery take place as bits were cut, filed, bent, straightened and miraculously 30 mins later the tap was as good as new. Not a cent charged! Who does that? They could have sold me a new tap, or sent me to an engineering company to have it fixed where I would have waited at least a week - but no, it's part of what they do and as I said, the best service I have ever experienced.
