Inspired Spaces were fantastic to work with in 2020. I would always recommend using a qualified designer such as Robyn before embarking on a renovation project. Because our design was well scoped by Inspired Spaces, we avoided any cost overruns on the project. We were also able to keep the building contractor "in check" with minimal variations and a clear, detailed design. Robyn took the time to understand our requirements, as well as guide us in the areas we didn't understand. She stayed in constant contact through the project, and helped ensure the contractor understood the vision and was delivering on expectations.

We ended up with a clean and modern look, adding value to the home and improving the liveability of all spaces. Robyn's interest and research into our acoustic goals was also appreciated - we achieved my key goal of reducing noise transfer between spaces whilst keeping an open plan feel. The spaces are so much quieter and more peaceful, even when the house is full.

Set the challenge of converting a poorly laid out and semi run down clinic Robyn in a truly professional way ensured a seemingly impossible makeover in 3 days with minimal disruption to our business. After a number of years of dilatoriness, I decided to renovate my barrister’s chambers. I had some basic ideas on how to improve the functionality of the space but no idea on how to turn those ideas into reality. Robyn took those ideas and built on them to devise an innovative refurbishment plan, using a modern, fresh colour scheme. She then project managed the refurbishment by locating some excellent tradesmen, and supervising their work. Her work has rejuvenated my office from one which was tired and lacked functionality into a fresh, functional and, dare I say, inspirational work environment which is now a pleasure to use.

I engaged Inspired Spaces to create a vibrant, comfortable and inspiring work environment for our team – and I don’t have the skills to do that! By engaging an interior designer who could also manage the project I was saving time and gaining new ideas. My brief was to create a bright and airy space that reflects Australia and the Australian way of life. I asked to include a meeting room, CEO office and breakout area. The new office also needed to accommodate future growth of the company and an informal meeting space. It’s a 100% improvement for staff. More room. Positive environment, room to congregate for lunch. Improved relationships. Everyone has their own personal space. My clients think it is fabulous, colourful, the image in the meeting room is inspiring, the reception area is inviting and bright. The best thing is the space for each person to work without being cramped, the colours feel positive, various options to meet with clients / staff, whiteboard is a focus for all staff. The office reflects our brand image – professional but approachable. I also think the project management element was very worthwhile.
