J Hamblin Carpentry

Consultation - First Steps
We would love to meet you! JHC offers free consultations and often free quotes, however, a small one-off fee may be charged for pricing of a larger project. This fee will be deducted if we are awarded the job. So please get in touch to discuss any of your upcoming projects. We will offer expert advice and solutions. We look forward to meeting you.

Communication
Every member of the team at JHC knows the importance of communication, not only with the other members of the team but with a high emphasis on keeping our clients involved and educated at every stage of the build. We feel this is incredibly important for relationships and that it helps our clients relax with what can be a stressful time for people that are embarking on construction projects. It’s simple, the more informed you are about the process, the less you have to stress about. We focus on making this easy for you.

New Build
Although specialising in working with existing structures, we also offer new build services. It can be exciting to start with a blank canvas. Our design team can help transform your ideas into a solid plan. We can work with you to provide the full service from design to moving in and everything in between, we do more so you can do less, whilst being informed throughout the journey. We are also happy to work with your designer if you have one to deliver a high standard of finish both inside and out.

Renovations, Additions & Alterations
Our speciality. We love to transform the old, rejuvenate and modernise. It gives us great pleasure to help transform an existing layout to provide a more practical and spacious place for our clients. To take a worn building and turn it into an eye-catching, fresh and exciting dwelling. Renovations are not always simple and do throw out some challenges, however, all members of the team enjoy these challenges and get satisfaction from problem-solving. In these situations working so closely with our design team really pays its dividends and allows us to maintain our efficiency.

Design
Kristy Ballard of Kristy Design is our preferred designer for both structural architecture and also interior architecture and design. She shares our passion for progressive design and practical space solutions offering contemporary design for a modern look or more traditional solutions for existing period properties. We work together with our clients to put together a package that can take you right from the early “ideas” stage all the way to relaxing into your new space, whether that be a new house, fully renovated property or perhaps just a new outdoor space to enjoy the sun.

Sub Trades
Working alongside us, we have a trusted team of experienced sub-trades. Years have been spent building these relationships with other trades that share our passion and dedicate themselves to delivering the same high standard finishes that we offer at the same time working efficiently as a large team to meet deadlines.
