About us
Janey Larsen Design offers an affordable residential design service that takes a new, fresh approach to existing spaces unique to the individuals that inhabit them.
HOME IS WHERE THE HEART IS
Let Janey Larsen Design turn your house into a home – one of the biggest challenges is knowing how to pull a room together to achieve that ‘finished look’- that blends space, light, colour and key features.
Janey Larsen Design can tie in most loved possessions into a design plan that offers both warmth and functionality in key living spaces.
Janey Larsen Design takes a hands-on approach - project managing the entire design process from developing the initial concepts (including joinery/cabinetry design) through to selecting paint colours, window and floor coverings, furniture, art work and decorative objects.

Bio
I’m Janey, founder of Janey Larsen Design, I’ve been interior design obsessed pretty much my whole life so it’s no surprise to anyone that its the path I am taking.
I studied Business at university and majored in sports marketing, before completing the Nannette Cameron School of Interior Design.
Based in Auckland and operating since 2012, I specialise in mostly residential projects.
The rooms I create are elegant, interesting, easy and comfortable. I use materials and textures that are natural favouring stone, timber and fabrics such as linens, velvets, wools and silks. Muted, calm and natural colours dominate my interior palette punctuated with startling combinations of colour, art and shape which add drama and contrast.
I want my client’s to come home each day to a beautiful environment that delights and inspires them, a home they feel truly comfortable in.
Whatever your requirements, I would love to hear from you, Please contact me for an informal consultation, home visit or on-site meeting.
