Founded in 2010, k YODER design (kYd) is a leading architecture and interior design studio for clients seeking a classic modern aesthetic and cohesion across design, furniture, décor, and art selection. We serve clients throughout Greater Philadelphia, including the Main Line, Poconos, and Jersey Shore. We are committed to excellent service and client partnership, prioritizing each client’s needs and goals.
kYd is recognized for thoughtful designs, attention to detail, and emphasis on fine craftsmanship. We are a regional expert on the preservation and sensitive renovation of significant midcentury modern architecture, and we are privileged to have worked on buildings by Louis Kahn, I.M. Pei, Vincent Kling, and Oskar Stonorov.
We are equally proud of our ability to work within the context – and confines – of urban row houses, condominiums, and suburban homes. We’re adept at reorganizing and maximizing space to achieve open, light-filled environments in even the smallest footprints.
We’re known for our classic modern architecture and interior design, but we never impose on our clients’ preferences. Our collaborative process engages every client, and we work best with those who want to participate, explore, and imagine together. We listen carefully to capture individual style in unexpected ways. The kYd team offers the advantage of integrated architectural and interior design services, with expertise in custom cabinetry and millwork, high-level construction management, and respect for budget.
