Character Home Renovation
Residential Interiors
Great residential design and renovation involves so much more than you may first realise... Spatial planning, smart home automation, lighting plans and architectural hardware and surfaces are just a few examples of areas often overlooked by homeowners when embarking on a renovation.
Alterations are expensive - its crucial to get the big ticket items right first time.
Working with an experienced interior designer with a passion for character homes will bring certainty and confidence to the design process for you. I can see the big picture and it is my privilege to take that vision and craft it into a home you love.
5 Compelling Reasons To Engage The Services Of An Interior Designer
1. Designers Save Money
It might sound strange that hiring someone to decorate your home would save you money since you have the additional fee of the designer, however, hiring a designer can help you to avoid costly mistakes that will not only help you save money but can increase the value of your home.
2. Professional Assessment
A designer can give you a professional assessment of your situation that will lead to a solid plan of action. The order of things in a design plan is key in determining what can be repurposed or should be edited. This will not only affect the budget but also help you to spend it more efficiently.
3. Budgeting and Planning
A designer can keep you on budget and save you time and effort. Designers knowwhere to go for resources for everything related to your home. This will save you endless amounts of time researching products, brands and prices. We spend the time researching so that you don’t have to.
4. Wow Factor
Lets give your home the wow factor it deserves. As a designer I am trained to think differently. To think spatially and to see an overall picture that a client may not. Thinking outside of the box is what I do all day long!
Colour Specification
Have you ever walked into a room that delights your senses and fires your imagination? What is that magic ingredient that makes some rooms come to life awakening your senses? Often the answer lies with the colour selected for the space. Colour is such an emotive and powerful way to transform a room. And as a trained Dulux colour expert I have a toolbox full of knowledge and expertise around selecting the perfect colours for a chosen space, taking the guess work away for you.
