About us
Our company has been built on the passions of three brothers.
Our father operated his own building business for over 30 years, and as we grew, so did our love for creating exceptional homes.
Once I was fully certified, I decided it was time I made my own mark delivering exceptional results, and founded Keane Building in 2009.
Born and bred Cantabrians, my brother Matt and Michael decided to join me as well, I guess you could say building is in our DNA.
Understanding the need to create well-made and beautifully appointed homes was the key in establishing a reputable name for Keane Building.
My passion is for you to enjoy the whole porcess of your new build from start to finish. I see it as a celebration of hard work and the effort you put in to create your dream home. I work closely with you, planning every stage meticulously.

How We Work With You
- Initial Contact: Call or email us today to discuss your project. We will set up a free consultation with Chris to understand your wants and needs and have an in depth discussion about what you hope to achieve.
- Concept to completion consultation: We want to know about you! During your no obligation meeting with Chris, you will discuss ideas, wants, needs, budget, location and timeframe. We want to know as much about your aspirations as possible to ensure we are all on the same page and working towards your goals.
- Plans: We can introduce you to a reputable architect and assist you getting your dreams on paper. Or, alternatively you may have your plans already drawn up.
- Investment Proposal: From approved plans, Chris will meet and discuss the investment proposal for your project which includes detailed pricing for every aspect of your build. During this meeting, Chris will talk you through each step of the build and answer any queries you may have.
- Confirmation: Once you've approved the detailed investment proposal we will provide you with a contract, a comprehensive Certifies Builders Guarantee application form and a schedule for yout build.
- Communication: Communication is vital throughout the building process. We will provide you with a unique login to our project manmagement software so that you can follow the porgress of your build and makle informed decisions through a convenienet app.
- Completion: Once the council has passed the final inspection, we will complete our thorough 101 point checklist to ensure your home in completed to the highest standard. Your home will also be cleaned from top to bottom before you move in.
