Lexus Landscaping designed and project managed the landscaping of our back section. It was a multi faceted project involving new storm water drainage, the disposal of an old garage with asbestos in it, levelling the large back section, constructing a car pad and a new timber fence along the boundary as well as laying a brand new lawn with garden borders.

Tim Hobbs lead the project from design and management right through to completion. Tim is a multi-skilled professional and very hard working. He and his team were always very friendly, honest and a pleasure to deal with.

Their workmanship and attention to detail is excellent. We are delighted with our new back section, Tim has transformed our home and our family now enjoys the space we have to the full.

Tim was contracted to do some work on our property in October 2013 – excavation, building of a retaining wall, pouring a new concrete path in exposed aggregate and framing up of raised garden beds with planting.

He worked like a demon on the excavation, I have never seen someone work so hard and so efficiently, the kids thought it was Christmas watching the digger go!

Tim maintained excellent communication throughout the job. He welcomed questions, was quick to problem solve and flexible with regards to design changes once the job was started. He appeared to have a good working knowledge of our local area, choosing appropriate plants for the conditions.

An example of this was our enthusiasm to have two specific trees planted. Tim reluctantly consented but didn’t appear hopeful that they would succeed – both those plants have failed and we have had to replant! Should have listened to you, Tim… Every other plant that Tim suggested has thrived.

Tim was hard working, good natured, worked well with all his subcontractors and completed the job in a timely fashion. We are loving our new garden and would gladly recommend him. Thanks again Lexus Landscaping.

We couldn't have wished for a better process or outcome. It was a big job but Tim had a vision and made it happen every step of the way. Planning was detailed and the small touches impressed us (washing our path at the end of every day and ordering a Portaloo on site from day one) Communication with Tim and his Team exceeded expectation and they listened to what we wanted. Lexus Landscaping is a very professional outfit and have a great work ethic. The initial consultation was a pleasant experience as Tim is easy to deal with and considerate in his approach. The quotation detailed the scope of the work well making it easy to see what was being offered, and the final result met all my expectations. Correspondence was handled in a timely manner with no delays to my questions. Lockdown got in the way of starting the work but as soon as Level 3 was reached Tim got the team in and it was completed within a few days. Attention to the government guidelines for Level 3 were adhered to well and all members of the team were polite and pleasant to talk to. At the end of the work the section was left in a very tidy state as though they hadn't been there, except for the excellent landscaping which looked great. I will be recommending Lexus as the company to go to for all landscaping work.

We had an incredible experience with Tim and the team. From quotes to the finished product, Tim always kept us in the loop for any changes needed and stuck to what he said he would do. One of the reasons we chose Lexus Landscaping, after getting a lot of different quotes, was the timeliness of quotes, quality of past work and feeling like we were being given honest options for what we could do with our space. The system they use for booking quote times would txt AND email reminders and Tim was once 10mins late and apologised profusely. We had work done just before lockdown and completed after lockdown and the team made sure we felt safe. A perk was the team waving to, and connecting with, our children while they worked.
