The principle behind Lifestyle Plumbing and Drainage is to supply good quality workmanship using modern technologies and products, while also being aware of the environmental impact the processes cause and minimising as much as possible.
Paul, Director of Lifestyle Plumbing and Drainage, was born and raised rural Gisborne and began his plumbing apprenticeship in 1990. 6 months after he started his apprenticeship the company he was working for closed its doors. He then found a company in Mt Maunganui with whom he was able to further his training.
In 1993 Paul made the move to Lower Hutt where he completed his training. In 1996, he met his now wife, and followed her to Germany where he got married and had 2 children. Upon his return to NZ in 2005 with the new family the decision was made to settle in Hawkes Bay.
"I was privileged enough to find employment with Panton Plumbing, where I was involved with the construction of the Taradale Summerset. As I had been away from the NZ building industry for so long, I combined the learning the new regulations with the completing of my advance trade qualification, achieving certifying Plumber status at the end 2006, followed by certifying Drainlayer in 2007." - Paul, Director
Paul left Panton Plumbing in August 2009 to start Lifestyle Plumbing & Drainage in August 2009 to focus more on the environmental impact of plumbing & drainage processes and hasn't looked back.
