When I started looking for a construction company for my house in Karekare, everybody in the community recommended Lone Kauri Construction. I remember the well known (and Karekare local) Architect Richard Priest saying: “I usually never recommend contractors, as there is always trouble, except Ezra Clark and his Lone Kauri Construction, he is just straight forward.”
My Experience with Ezra and his crew stood up to the compliments!
I am an Architect with almost 20 years work experience across the world, until coming to New Zealand two years ago, and understand Richards comment, as construction is usually trouble to a certain extent.
The construction of my own house was a very pleasant experience; It started with the fun crew. I never encountered a site that was so cheerful throughout the process. Especially frontman Eyan Cannon, who is always in a good mood come rain or shine.
Trish Rua, Ezra's partner and the company's accountant, kept the invoicing clear, timely, and transparent. With weekly invoices, hours of every team member listed, and all material receipts attached, keeping track of the budget is as easy as possible.
The workmanship is of highest professional standards. My house is rich in minimalist details, which required forward thinking to ensure all elements join as intended. Ezra and his crew are extremely proud of their trade and delivered an excellent result. And they know the codes, we passed every inspection at the first go.
If you want something done quick and dirty by cutting corners with cheap materials, Lone Kauri Construction is the wrong choice. If you want your project to last, to meet the codes, and be of high or highest standard, Ezra and his crew are the company of choice.
If you are considering Lone Kauri as your contractor and wish to see references, you are always welcome to visit my house. Please make contact through Trish Rua at Lone Kauri Construction
