Mākoha Small Homes
Builders
About us
Based in Ōtautahi, Aotearoa New Zealand, Mākoha create bespoke, small homes and tiny huts that reflect outstanding craftsmanship and quality materials.
Each build is considerate of its environment, providing minimal disturbance to the landscape, and ultimately creating a place of tranquility.
Whether you choose from the range of plans available or have us develop a unique design, Mākoha can create a home that meets your every need.
Build small, live big!
The Process
Whether you are after a bespoke small home, a tiny hut for the teenager, or a getaway bach, we can work with you to meet your building needs. We have multiple plans available (which can be seen on our website) that vary from tiny 10sqm huts, to three-bedroom homes. Many clients choose a plan and then customise it to suit their family and lifestyle.
We will involve you in each aspect of the design and build process, ensuring that the build and the outcome meet your every need.
We can transport our tiny huts throughout the country, and can provide transportable trailers too, if you are after greater flexibility. We can also build all of our homes on-site, anywhere in the country (there are currently happy Mākoha clients from Glenorchy all the way up to Great Barrier Island!).
If you are keen to get started on a build, or are after more information, please send a submission through our website.
