We needed a builder to replace some large windows with doors opening on to a deck. Matt had been recommended to us as a tradesman who could ensure that the job would be done to the appropriate standards. We also asked Matt to replace a makeshift concertina door in our sleep-out with a sliding door.

Matt understood what we wanted. He was clear about when he could do the work and what it would cost.  He always arrived at the appointed time, worked tidily and proficiently and made thoughtful decisions to achieve the best result.

We enjoyed working with him and were never in doubt about the quality of the finished product.

We had Matt do various work for us in recent times. Matt was very easy to deal with, explaining clearly what needed to be done and the cost of the job. Matt went about his work briskly, with the job done to a high level. We would get Matt back without hesitation anytime.

Matt measured and installed MagicSeal insect screens for our garage and sleepout.  His approach was thoroughly professional.  He provided sound advice which was easy to understand.  The screens were available and installed when indicated – which was just before Christmas 2016.  We are extremely pleased with the screens;  and the difference they’ve made, enabling more use of the space we have.  They are very easy to use and maintain.  We would happily recommend Matt’s services to anyone wanting MagicSeal screens.

Over the last year, Matt Ticehurst has completed several building jobs for us, ranging from replacing weatherboards, putting in wardrobes and completing an extension, with kitchen and bathroom renovations.

When thinking about our renovations, and not having a lot of experience or skill with this, we discussed them with Matt and he was very helpful in putting together a plan of what we wanted, as well as offering some very useful suggestions.

During the course of the renovations, Matt pretty much ‘project-managed’ them, ensuring that other tradespeople, such as electricians, plumbers and painters turned up at the correct time and coordinating with the company putting in the kitchen fixtures.

All his work was of the highest standard and he communicated well, always keeping us in the picture with what was happening.

We are very happy with the end-product and extremely grateful to Matt for his efforts in bringing it to fruition. We would highly recommend Matt to anyone requiring building work, no matter how big or small!
