Testimonials

Jonathan demonstrated an outstanding talent for pure architecture and everything that the profession requires. He designed a superb house for us that fits the site and our brief perfectly. We are still excited whenever we pull up to it. His practice certainly appears to be a ‘gem’ in the industry

Alex & Bridget

If you are thinking of designing a home with wow factor that you can be really proud of then we would recommend that you commission John for your next project. Anyone thinking of using his services is welcome to view our home.

Ant & Pip

Matter provided us with visualization imagery which helped us gain a good understanding of exactly what we were achieving, allowing us to proceed with confidence.

Bert & Andrea

During our building consent meeting with North Shore City Council the officer commented on how comprehensive the plans were and that they contained all relevant information for the Council to approve the plans without delay

Brian & Emily

We decided to complete a large extension to our home and asked Jonathan to complete the plans for us as we loved what he had done for a friend of ours. His attention to detail is unprecedented, we have no hesitation in recommending Jonathan and the team

Chris & Lisa

The site was somewhat challenging, being steep, damp, covered by protected bush and having a council easement along one border. We also set a particularly tight budget. Jonathan’s ability to take advantage of our ideas, of the best the site had to offer, and bring to them his particular talents in design and perspective has resulted in a delightful holiday home.

Matter has been able to convert our ideas into something special. Our builder has stated to us on several occasions what a pleasure it has been to work with Jonathan on our project. His plans are the clearest the builder has ever had to work with
