I had my heart set on a plywood kitchen with a very specific layout to suit my needs. I wanted a kitchen where every surface was only an arm‘s length away and every drawer was proportioned on its occupants. Ben and Harry, who are both charming and good communicators, worked extraordinarily diligently to bring my plans to fruition and suggested excellent improvements to the design along the way. Their attention to detail and quality is evident throughout my kitchen and it ties into my old workers' cottage seamlessly. I am in love with the result and my kitchen is a pleasure to use every day. As well as being wonderfully functional it is lovely to look at and easy to cook in.

Harry and Ben are brilliant artisans.  I had a TV cabinet and bookshelf made by them.  They designed the furniture themselves, and then helped me choose the type of wood I wanted.  They explained the process to me and were upfront about costs and timing.  They were also able to have custom-made steel brackets made for both.  They were extremely professional, always checking in with me, providing me with updates, and always coming back to me if they needed me to make decisions.  I will definitely use them again and would recommend them to anyone who is looking for beautiful custom-made furniture of outstanding quality.

We needed a wall hung TV cabinet for our loungeroom.

The space is confined but prominent and required a sympathetic creation that even "custom made" couldn't accommodate as they still seem to operate from their template. This is where Matter came in.

The unit had to hide the TV cables and related paraphernalia and give symmetry to the TV in the space.This required discussions between Harry and Ben at Matter, our electician and us which went ahead seamlessly.

We were very particular about what we wanted to achieve and they were very attentive.

The outcome is beautiful and we would recommend them highly.
