"We recently undertook a significant renovation in our family home with Maybeck Residential. It involved adding a new story to our existing house and modernising of the remaining structure.

We decided on Sam and Jacob after watching their work over a period of months on a neighbour’s house and getting a glowing endorsement from them. Importantly also for us we wanted a builder who was personally on the job every day and over every single detail, not farming all the work out to people we didn’t know.

Throughout the entire project I was impressed with their high levels of communication and standards of workmanship - particularly  important considering we had to live in the property throughout. Nothing was too much trouble – even coming back to our property at 10pm in the middle of a cyclone when we had a tarpaulin roof to ensure we were dry and safe.

12 weeks later and the project was delivered on time, on budget (outstanding considering we added various things onto the core job as we progressed) and Council COC approved. The property was also left in a very tidy state which in itself is no mean feat having done the majority of the work in a wet and windy Auckland winter.

From our first meeting with Sam we found him open and approachable and throughout the project he was easy to talk to and always forthcoming with suggestions and ideas.
