About us
Transform your home with architectural lighting design.
MINT Lighting Design is an independent architectural lighting design consultancy based in Melbourne, Australia.
We specialise in lighting design for homes of all sizes, developing unique lighting plans that focus on what you want to see, and how you want to feel.
If you want more than the standard lighting plan full of downlights, MINT will design light for you that enhances your home and provides the function you need.
We look forward to transforming your home with the right lighting plan.
Light, to enhance your interiors and architecture.
A lighting designer works with one of the most powerful interior design tools - light. It can change the mood and atmosphere of both interiors and gardens at the flick of a switch.
With over 20 years experience in commercial, retail, hospitality and residential lighting design and construction the MINT Lighting team brings creative, technical and effective lighting to our design projects around Australia and New Zealand.
As Illumination Engineers, the lights we design with are considered for efficiency, effect and technical performance. By effectively placing the light fittings in each room, we bring beautiful light that adds value, making the most of your interiors and architecture, and just as importantly, your lighting budget.
We are independent designers, referencing hundreds of brands and suppliers to access the best light for your home.
Services
There is no other company like MINT Lighting Design — providing professional lighting design advice independent from the commercial imperative of selling light fittings.
To curate the best light selections to suit our projects, we work with everyone from the best specialist lighting retailers through to the highest quality commercial lighting firms.
We help you invest in quality, so you can enjoy the light you deserve in your home.
By focusing on what you need to see, and how you want your home to feel, we create a unique lighting solution that is nothing like the common “standard array of downlights”.
Great lighting design ensures you have functional light where you need it, light to enhance your interior design, and light that creates the mood you want in your home — without filling your ceiling with holes.
Every design is determined by what you need from your light. Your style, your family, your home.
At MINT we focus on creating light in homes which enhances liveability and functionality by using the right light, in the right location at the right times.
We work directly with you to understand what is important to you, reflecting your needs through a carefully crafted lighting design.
No matter the size and complexity of your home, we will design light for you that transforms your spaces from day to night.
