You might have seen in the news last night that Nelson Airport went live with operations from the new terminal last night - Michael, Mason and team have been incredible to work with; everything I could hope for from a main contractor - responsiveness/timeliness, attention to detail, nothing has been too big or small to tackle.

The team that do the ‘real work’ are often the unsung heroes so I just wanted to make sure you all know just how appreciated you are.

Mike represents a skilled, clever and respectful bunch of craftsman. We were fortunate enough to have them on our project, aspects of which were not always conventional. Mike is an excellent listener, he took the time to get to know us and our situation and continued to provide sound, honest and creative solutions to meet our requirements. He was excellent at managing the relationships between architects, councils, engineers and sub-contractors.

When issues arose, Mike was there to provide solutions, with very easy, transparent and clear communications. Our involvement changed throughout the project, Nelson Builders provided us flexibility at each level and navigated us through a materials shortage, always delivering an excellent result. Mike’s team have broad skillsets from basic constructions through to the fine finishing details like joinery and have delivered an outstanding result on our project.
