DESIGN & CONSTRUCT MODEL - Concept-Design-Approval-Build

We are big proponents of Design-Construct as it places a highly experienced builder, our associate architects and clients in the same room, thus providing the opportunity for the kind of collaboration that the construction industry is lacking.

"Since 80% of the cost decisions are made during the first 20% of the design, you have just missed the opportunity to benefit from the biggest source of potential savings and value engineering that come from collaboration between the builder, contractors, suppliers and the designers."

We specialise in this approach.

HERITAGE CONSERVATION AREAS

Ku-Ring-Gai and Willoughby councils now have large areas of heritage conservation that some designers find difficult to navigate. Our team is highly experienced in this area, our close working relationships with a range of specialist consultants will be of assistance early in the design process.

We take pride in our thorough planning, quality workmanship and innovative use of materials & building techniques. This approach has seen Nexgen win a raft of industry awards and accolades, including:

• HIA Renovation Project of the Year 2014 Finalist
• HIA Renovation Project of the Year 2010 Finalist
• Blue Scope Steel Most Innovative Use of Steel 2006
• HIA Australian Custom Home of the Year 2005
• HIA Australian Custom Home Under 700k 2005
• HIA Australian Most Innovative Use of Steel Award 2005
