Oakhill Carpentry

Finding the right builder for your new build or renovation can be a mission in itself.

You're ready to get on with your exciting new project, but you're feeling a little apprehensive about taking that first step.
There's so many builders out there to choose from, so how do you find the right one for you? You want to work with someone who is not only trustworthy, reliable and experienced, but someone who comes with exceptional project management skills. You need someone with incredible workmanship, who has a natural ability to come up with solutions if and when a situation arises. Someone who can communicate without using a whole load of jargon, keeps you in the loop with how things are progressing, easy to work with and is friendly, too. Builders like that don't grow on trees.

Hi, I'm Phill! With my experience and 'nouse', I will work hard to professionally take care of your building or renovation project. I'll keep you informed along the way and remove any worries you might have.

Here's why I'm the man for your job.
I initially worked in the building industry for 16 years and was involved in projects of all sizes. Everything from simple decks, bathroom renovations and even horse stables, right through to 2 - 3 million dollar new builds and renovations, and award-winning builds. All of this experience put me in good stead to start up my own company, Oakhill Carpentry.

Why you can put your trust in Oakhill Carpentry.
I have access to the best trades in Auckland and take pride in providing you with the best product possible. Many years of experience-based knowledge allows me to understand what works well and what doesn't, giving you peace of mind, so you can trust that your project will be completed right the first time.

Working hard for you will help me achieve my goal.
I went straight into building when I left school and quickly grasped up the trade. Starting off with building pole frame buildings for stables and farms, and moving on to house renovations and commercial projects. At 19 years old I was put in charge of running a project while my employer was away. I took on the challenge, which I enjoyed immensely. Not long after, I was made full time foreman and began working with and learning from, people who had painting and tiling backgrounds. When I was 24 I managed a large construction company, handling renovations and basement extensions for six years. During this time, I participated in the Master Builder House of the Year awards on multiple occasions.

My goal is to win awards in the Master Builder House of the Year, under my own banner.
