Onemana Builders was formed in 2018 by Duane Jones. Duane has about 40 years of experience in the building industry.

Duane has been in the building industry since before leaving school, spending school holidays working for his father’s light commercial building company in Auckland. Growing up with a highly respected father within the building industry left its mark upon Duane, who has carried on with pride and pleasure in the industry. Duane’s son Ryan is also a family trained builder with his own business in Sydney’s Eastern Suburbs.

Duane is proud to say that after forty years in the industry he still enjoys every day he dorns his tool belt.

Duane has built many interesting projects with roles as diverse as leading a large team of sub-contract carpenters to produce some well-recognized buildings throughout the North Island in NZ, to Site Supervisory positions in Australia. The biggest project Duane has been a part of is the build of the shopping centre in Queensland valued at $65m.

Duane now enjoys the more personal touch being a hands-on builder with a small crew of loyal and efficient sub-contractors and suppliers. Due to the vast and varied experience, Duane has amassed in the industry he has a willingness to consider each project for its challenges. Every detail is considered when starting a project, Onemana Building Company is well capable and willing to take on any project.
