Our History

From its origin in 1963, Owairoa Joinery started out in a small factory in Howick, acquiring our name from the area’s Maori identity.

As the company grew, we moved to our new, purpose-built, joinery factory, where we have room to manufacture even the largest of door frames. Our modest size guarantee’s our clients the best personal service.

Here at Owairoa Joinery, we are fortunate enough to have a highly skilled and experienced team, including tradesmen with upwards of 30 years in handcrafting quality items, which has been passed on to our younger tradesmen, all with an attention to detail.
