MJ and his team, came to our run down 1960's home and performed their magic. They put on a new roof, renovated, like completely gutted the bathrooms down to the studs, painted all through including changing our wallpapered walls to paint-able walls. Hours of plastering to result in these gorgeously smooth walls and they look brand new. The old battered doors were changed as well. We've put new LEDs and downlights all the way through and we are very proud of the work that was done. We even put in gas hot water, at MJ's suggestion. We owned a classic Auckland villa in Onehunga which required the usual renovation requirements of an aging villa. These included full house re-piling, exterior and window rot repair and paint (including new timber joinery), roof repair and paint, interior painting and tiling, and some plumbing work. Dominic at Refresh initially led us through the design and council consenting process for the re-piling work. Following this, Dominic and his team undertook all the renovation works mentioned above, dealing with all the subcontractors without us having to get involved. Renovations can be stressful (especially through COVID), and there were issues which popped up, however these were communicated and resolved satisfactorily. Dominic took care of all the council documentation, inspections as well as the final CCC. Overall we are really pleased with the results and glad we engaged Dominic at Refresh to help us through the process. We would definitely recommend Dominic and his team.
