We used Resolution Projects Ltd to carry out a full re-clad of our home.We purchased a monolithic clad home in 2005. The full implications of remedial methods where certainly in the early stages of being understood by both the building providers and homeowners.

We explored a number of options but eventually decided to do a full reclad. We worked with two other builders but were not convinced that their design, workmanship timeframe or cost meet our expectations. Eventually, over a number of discussions, we settled on Resolution Projects Ltd as we felt they would best meet our above requirements. Service was excellent from the beginning.

Tom willingly spent the time explaining detail together with the architect until we were happy with the design, build program and cost. We felt comfortable with all aspects of the work throughout the project including the cost which ran to plan. All jobs are only as good as the team assembled. The crew we had on the job were excellent in all respects. Always on time respectful that we were living onsite keep the job on track with their work program, kept us informed at all times and finished in the allotted 10 weeks.

What has been a very stressful undertaking for a lot of people doing re clads was made easy by the Tom and his team are always responsive and making the whole project as easy as possible for us as clients.

We have recently had our plaster house completely re-clad with wooden weatherboards over a cavity by Resolution Projects. It was a daunting process getting started, as it’s not something we’ve had any experience with. It quickly became apparent that Tom, from Resolution Projects, has a lot of knowledge in the areas of building as well as weatherproofing, both requirements for properly resolving weather-tightness issues. In our experience, the whole process was taken seriously from day one when a team of very experienced builders and associated tradesmen arrived, and then turned up at 7am every day until the job was done.I believe the project was treated as a partnership between Resolution Projects and ourselves, where any issues were discussed and resolved in an amicable manner and agreed by both parties.

My family of five lived in the house throughout the 4 month duration. We got to know the builders and looked forward to them arriving each morning and seeing progress by the afternoon. Every one of the team on-site went out of their way to work around us being there, for example, keeping the existing heat pump fully connected throughout the entire process despite completely rebuilding the walls in which the heat pump plumbing was routed.

The quality of workmanship and attention to detail may have been specific to the builder Resolution Projects assigned to our project, but ultimately the whole thing was overseen by Tom and I’d therefore expect other builds to be of similar high standard. We are extremely happy with the result, and would do it again with Resolution Projects if we had to.

Tom was a pleasure to work with. He always dealt with my questions carefully as I have no building experience and rang me back when I wanted to discuss something with him. My family and I were able to live in the house while it was being recladded, although this might not suit everyone!

The crew were helpful and one of them came in to fix a leak in the garage during a storm on a Saturday morning. My reclad job was finished within budget and on time although getting the CCC took much longer than we anticipated. I’m delighted with the results! I have recommended Tom and his crew to several of my friends and one family has just started their reclad with Resolution.

Recladding your home is a major decision. However, we were eased into the process by informative discussions and assurances for the completion date. We were also fortunate in having an exceptional project manager overseeing a professional work team. Tom has the unique ability to understand big picture issues but can also zoom into the small yet significant technical details.

Throughout Tom’s team impressed us with their dedication and excellence of workmanship.The project was completed right on time and we were most pleased with the end result.

We found Tom and the team great to work with. We always had clear information, and on site the guys were very sensitive to our needs, very professional, very hard working, and very easy to have round. We always had options and were never locked into a way we didn’t understand or support.Resolution Projects have worked through a robust process for managing weather-tightness issues in terms of both how they physically deal with the property, and just as importantly how Council requirements are managed throughout the process. It’s this latter issue that we think is critical in ensuring an outcome that everyone is satisfied with.

Council were involved in designing the process, and Council are engaged with each project at the right points to ensure a ‘no surprises’ event when the property is up for its final inspection… the whole project was managed around us (and our highly strung cat) continuing to live in the house. This saved us a great deal of hassle and money, and the whole process was completely manageable. We highly recommend them.
